Here are a few panels from Superman #294. They are from the backup story "The Private Life of Clark Kent." Clark has said on TV that he knows the names of a band of crooks. He doesnt but is doing this to flush them out. It works but Clark hadn't counted that one of them looked a lot like him. So they try to get him to switch clothes. That way the crook can go into Mr.Kent's office and try to find out who fingered them. In the following panels Clark ues his superspeed and in 2.3 seconds he has temporarily blinded the crook and taken off his Superman uniform and compressed it to fit in his mouth.
Later, after he has escaped and taken the crook's place to find where they had the stolen items, Clark is back at the anchor desk on the WGBS news. But look what he writes in his journal.
It will all come out all right... the end!!! My young mind back then may have gotten a laugh out of this but as an adult all i can say is...YUCH!!!!
