This is from issue 62 of the Invincible Iron Man. In the story Tony Stark is visiting a divison of his business in Ohio. Now I am not a big sports fan but I live not far from Cincinnati and have kept up with their sports teams. The above art looks just like the city skyline did in 1973. It mentions their baseball team the Reds and their football team the Bengals. They also mention the Royals. Who are the Cicinnnati Royals? At that time they were the city's basketball team. Yes Cincinnati had a major basketball team till 1972. This issue was published in 1973. The deal to sell the team and move them to Kansas city to become the Kings must have not reached Marvel till it was too late to take their name out of this issue. This is now one historical memory of the team.
