I saw this in an old issue of Batman. I always thought an interesting book would be to tell the history of these types of laws and why they were important to put on the books at the time.

When Marv Wolfman brought his creation of Nova to Marvel Comics he quickly became a favorite of mine. Sometimes Marvel would show that they knew they had a hit and had faith in the creation by showcasing a major Marvel hero or villain by the 4th or 5th issue. Remember when Spider-man met Dr. Doom in issue #5 of Amazing Spider-man? Well with #4 of Nova they showed their faith by teaming him up with Thor. Some people said that Thor was Marvel's version of Superman at that time. I didn't agree with them but when I read this story I could understand what they meant. Read it yourself and think of Superman in place of Thor. I can see it and could believe that in the last panel Superman would probably have added "Keep going the way you are and one day I wouild be proud to sponsor you as member of the Justice League." At that time I was hoping Nova would join the Avengers. Now I have to hope and dream they will bring Nova a series that is as good as his first series.
