Countdown to Christmas: Mary Marvel #8
The old saying you can't judge a book by its cover is true in this case. The cover looks like Christmas but there is no Christmas story in sight. But since this sites main focus is on team-ups I couldn't resist posting the lead story in the book where Mary teams with Bulletgirl. Now that DC owns Bulletgirl and her last name is Kent may be they could make her a relative of Superman. It has interesting possibilities.

That was great. Didn't realize they did a story together. Love Golden Age team-ups. They were so much more rare than in modern comics.
Also, enjoyed how very casual they were about who knows their "secret identities". Not like all the DRAMA surrounding who Superman & Batman really are. lol

Glad you liked it. I didn't know of this team-up till I came across it a couple of weeks ago. I wanted a Christmas story but knew I had to post this asap once I read it. Those golden age stories were a lot more fun then some later ones. Like you said some things just don't need to be so dramatic.
