Tales from the Dollar Bin: Marvel Milestones Marvel Premiere #28

Well here it is Halloween at last. It is also the end of our countdown. I did my best to make sure that there was no repeats in our guest stars. Today we don't have one of the regular team-up books. Today is a reprint of the book Marvel Premiere #28 in the Marvel Milestones series. It features most of their superhero horror stars together as the Legion of Monsters in a story by Bill Mantlo and art by Frank Robbins.

Tomorrow is Halloween and we're bringing the countdown home with a witch. Hey in the DC universe Zatanna's magic is real so to me that quilifies her as a witch. So now read and enjoy this story by Mike W. Barr and art by Jim Aparo called Angel of Mercy, Angel of Death in The Brave and the Bold #169.

Some of our host here at Mail it to Team-up got into the Halloween spirit. Spidey actually was interested but saw that most costumes revealed at least part of his face and opted out. The Thing couldn't find a costuem his size so just put on a mask. Batman and Superman thought it would be nice to see what it was like to be a Marvel hero for a change. Hope you like it. There seem to be no shortage of swamp monsters in the comic book. Marvel's most famous is Man-Thing and the lesser known The Glob.
