Action Comics #484
Years ago in DC comics Ask the Answer Man column a reader asked when was Superman's Birthday. His answer was February 29th. That was a way to reveal why he still claimed to be in his 30's when at that time he should have been in his 50's or 60's. Over the years there have been other answers to that question but I have always preferred February 29th as his birthday. Wonder when he celebrates it in a non-leap year? Well, no matter. Today is Superman's birthday and in honor of that today I am giving you Action Comics #484. In it the Golden Age Superman marries his Lois Lane. So this is your invitation to their wedding.

Thanks for this story, Mark! I LOVE it! I remember buying it new off the shelf, and my friends making fun of me because I STILL liked Superman! Heh. :)
Also, Mort Weisinger was the first to give Superman February 29 as his birth-date. I think he did it so Superman would have something in common with youngsters who also had that birthday. Cool idea, if you ask me! ;)
